The Level 2 course is designed for delegates working in roles which may directly contribute to the creation, detection or control of a well influx.

Note that, Level 2 is a prerequisite for candidates who are: 1. obtaining IWCF certification for the first time, and 2. wishing to progress to Level 3.

The aim of this course is to provide a basic understanding of Well Intervention Pressure Control.

Course Delivery:

The course is delivered using presentations supported by animations and videos and supplemented by a workbook.

IWCF Test:

The test is separated into two sections.

Compulsory:
  • Completion and Well Service Operations
  • Completion and Well Service Equipment
Optional Modules:
  • Coiled Tubing Operations
  • Hydraulic Workover (Snubbing) operations
  • Wireline Operations

Successful completion of the course and examination will result in IWCF Level 2 certification, which is valid for five years.
